We all had problems that morning at Talladega Gran Prix Raceway. Sure I was in the novice group, but my buddy and I were the advanced novice group (i.e. we had a prayer of knowing what we were doing).

No, it's a summer weekend car. And track rat.

It's also one of the last N/A I6s BMW sold in the US. The N52. Also known as one of the few engines ever made (The others are Porsche flat 6s in the 1970s and some VW engines) with a magnesium outer block (water jacket is in the inner aluminum block, so no awesome explodium)

I drive a Mini Clubman S daily. I did an Oppo review on it sometime back.

I never would have known that if you hadn't thrown that out there. That's pretty cool. I've been wanting to buy a Cooper S, but the problem is finding one around here that isn't, well, ruined.
